My Philosophy
Many years of practicing yoga has made me believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience…
We came here with so much individuality, light and magic - waiting to be discovered and expressed. We have this one very precious life. This one ticket through the earthly dimension. We have free will to go exactly where we want to go - but perhaps also a destiny that is calling us…
I resonate a lot with the ancient Chinese philosophy, Taoism… and find that when we honour that we are a part of nature and live accordingly, it all makes more sense…
For me, nature is a very big teacher… From the trees, to the ocean, to the flowers - we can learn so much from nature’s patience, intelligence and rhythm.
I find a more meaningful existence when living slightly slower and more in tune with myself… I am a deep feeler of it all. I have realised you have to feel all the emotions properly.
Feeling is a privilege when you begin to embrace the entire spectrum of emotions… I love life dearly and fully and I am inspired by many things… Music and nature especially. An eclectic tune that takes me on a journey makes my soul sing,.. so does a mesmerising sunset to end the day.
I am passionate about everything within the realms of health - I’ve always gravitated towards tinctures, herbs & ‘healthy’ food. I find that when I really nourish & nurture my physical body, my mental & emotional life gets a lot easier.
Since a young age I have thought a lot about life and the meaning of it all. I guess I’ve always had some kind of longing for the stars… The cosmos really is a deep mystery… perhaps that is why I find answers in ancient teachings such as Yoga, Zen Buddhism, Taoism and Kabbalah.
My personal journey is to travel from my head to my heart. To let go of my mind, get into my body and stay close to my soul.
There is so much wisdom and intelligence in our heart and body. When living more connected to myself, everything becomes more juicy, pleasurable and aligned.
I feel I have been given so many blessings in this life and I feel a responsibility to give back in some kind of way. For now, it is spreading the art, science and technology that is yoga to more people.
Yoga has been a very important part of my own journey through life the past years and I am a testament to how transformative it can be. Yogic philosophy gives a lot of guidance on how we can live with more presence and connection to ourselves and the world around us…
